Astrology, Tarot and Sound Healing
How astrology and tarot can help
Life has a habit of throwing curve balls at us, sometimes making us feel indecisive or even lost. I am an advocate of free will, but it’s helpful to understand the chart-specific paradigm within which we may exercise our intention. That’s where astrology and Tarot can be helpful - not as fortune-telling devices, but as powerful self-help tools to give us a gentle nudge in the right direction.
My astrology background
I have Practitioner Level Certificates in Horary Astrology and Medical Astrology through the School of Traditional Astrology. I also have certificates in Vedic Astrology and Alternate Traditions from Kepler College, where I discovered Alice A. Bailey’s Esoteric Astrology and refined my knowledge of AstroCartoGraphy. I have also studied Hellenistic Astrology with Demetra George and Chris Brennan.
My approach
I use a combination of ancient (Hellenistic and medieval) and modern techniques, interspersed with Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) where appropriate in my readings, integrating Tarot where readings call for it. Some examples of the types of readings that I offer include:
birth (natal) chart analysis, using the chart as a blueprint for the soul
looking at current astrological transits, planetary periods and/or using electional charts to forecast auspicious and challenging periods in relation to an individual’s or business’s natal chart - or in relation to the inception or launching of important events such as engagements, weddings and new businesses
using Astro*carto*graphy to understand the astrological impact on the individual of particular geographical locations (e.g. “Which countries would be best for me to go to on holiday?”; “I’m think of relocating to Europe - are there any countries or cities that I should avoid?”)
group dynamics (e.g. within families or decision-making bodies): assessing how particular groups of people work together and what patterns may be in operation
using horary astrology to answer specific questions (e.g. “What are my chances of promotion this year?”; “Will my wife be transferred to a new work location?”)
using the system of synastry to help individuals and businesses understand the particular chemistry between existing or prospective partners
Depending on the circumstances, I may also be able to offer a “rectification” service to help individuals ascertain a likely birth time when they don’t have access to that data.
Astrology and sound healing
I have completed extensive training in the Acutonics sound healing system, accredited by the Acutonics Institute of Integrative Medicine, LLC, and I am working towards my Practitioners Certificate. This system works primarily with tuning forks, integrating principles of Chinese Medicine. The forks are attuned to the vibrational frequencies of the planets and are applied to the meridians (energy channels) to bring the physical and subtle bodies into balance - much like acupuncture, but without the needles. I use the birth chart to optimise the use of the tuning forks. Please get in touch with me if you want to find out more.
